ICC Sydney Hybrid Event Solutions
ICC Sydney has now launched a convention industry first, with a new hybrid on-site and virtual event solution to meet evolving client needs. The innovative dual-product will allow clients to host more than 300 people at the venue in accordance with strict social distancing measures, whilst also live streaming to an unlimited number of remote attendees. As COVID-19 restrictions are progressively rolled back, the new Hybrid Event Solutions is the next evolution in events. It will be an ongoing suite of products available to clients, reflecting the seamless merging of technology with live experiences needed for the current and post-pandemic era.
ICC Sydney EventSafe Operating Framework
ICC Sydney has developed a set of operating principles to enable the safe running of events and that signals the readiness of ICC Sydney to recommence running events, pending the further roll back of Federal and State restrictions. The comprehensive set of protocols spans 16 key areas of event management and integrates best practice from parent group ASM Global’s VenueShield – a program of the most advanced hygienic safeguards, informed by public health authorities, medical and industry experts – which will be deployed in ASM Global’s 325 worldwide facilities. The framework also operates within the safety protocols of Safe Work Australia’s Codes of Practices, which underpins how ICC Sydney works under the Work Health Safety law and, more recently, the COVID-19 Safe Workplace Principles.
These measures will explore the use of personal protective equipment, food safety measures, air quality control, surface cleaning, physical/social distancing, temperature checks, thermal cameras, hand sanitzers, reduced touch points, contactless transactions, daily monitoring systems and more.
