1. Promoter

The promoter is Business Events Sydney (ABN 42 002 630 364) L20,  100 William St , Sydney 2011 Australia. For competition or privacy enquiries, contact: marketing@businesssydney.com.au 

2. Eligibility

  • Open to registered trade visitors aged 18 years or over attending IMEX Frankfurt 2026 (19-21 May 2026) 
  • Employees of the promoter and its agencies are not eligible to enter

3. How to Enter 

  • Scan the QR code at the Business Events Sydney stand at IMEX Frankfurt
  • Complete and submit the game entry form during the exhibition period (19-21 May 2026)
  • Limit of one entry per person
  • No purchase is necessary to enter

4. Nature of Competition 

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

5. Prize 

One (1) winner will receive a gift card valued at approximately AUD$500. The prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash

6. Judging & Winner Notification 

Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by Business Events Sydney. Judging will be based on:  

  • Originality 
  • Relevance 
  • Quality of response 

The judges’ decision is final. The winner will be notified by email on 1 June 2026.

7. Marketing Consent 

  • Entry into the competition does not automatically subscribe entrants to marketing communications 
  • An optional opt‑in checkbox will be provided for those who wish to receive Business Events Sydney updates
  • Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting Business Events Sydney

8. Data Collection & Privacy 

  • Personal data collected will be limited to what is necessary to administer the competition (e.g. name, email address, company)
  • Business Events Sydney is the data controller for the purposes of this competition
  • Data will be processed in accordance with: 
    • The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
    • Business Events Sydney’s Privacy Policy
  • Personal data will:  
    • Be used solely for competition administration and winner notification 
    • Not be shared with third parties without explicit consent 
    • Be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil these purposes, after which it will be securely deleted
  • As Business Events Sydney is based in Australia, personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Appropriate safeguards are in place to protect personal data in accordance with GDPR
  • Entrants have the right to: 
    • Access their data
    • Request correction
    • Request deletion
    • Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority 

9. General 

  • By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions
  • The promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition if required due to unforeseen circumstances. 
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to its courts
