TRACY HALLIWELL MBE

Tracy heads up London & Partner’s Tourism division, managing the event solutions team and a proactive global sales team focused on attracting discretionary business, cultural & sporting events to the capital. Tracy also works with city stakeholders and member organisations to develop and build London’s tourism offering across business and leisure. Prior to joining London & Partners Tracy had over 20 years’ experience in senior sales and marketing positions in the hospitality industry including Vice-President of Sales EMEA for Millennium and Copthorne Hotels, Global Sales Director for Thistle Hotels, and Senior Vice-President Sales & Marketing North America for Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts.
Awarded the Eventia Outstanding Achievement honour 2013; named as one of the Top 25 Women in the Meetings Industry, M&C 2015; Event 100 list of the most Influential people in the industry, and awarded an MBE for services to Business Tourism in 2014.

LYN LEWIS-SMITH
CEO, BESYDNEY
As CEO of BESydney, Lyn leads a global team of professionals spanning Europe, North America and Asia who are charged with securing business meetings of economic, social and educational benefit to Sydney, Australia. In the last five years under Lyn’s leadership, BESydney has secured events generating commercial outcomes greater than $1 billion. Lyn has won a number of accolades for her leadership, including Destinations International Humanitarian Award for co-authoring the article ‘Determining Business Events Legacies beyond the Tourism spend: An Australian Case Study Approach’, with UTS Business School.
Lyn is a Graduate of the AICD, Past President and Director - Australian Association of Convention Bureaux, Business School Advisory Board Member and Adjunct Professor for the University of Technology Sydney, Board Member, The Committee for Sydney, Chair - Committee for Sydney Liveability Lovability Taskforce, Destinations International COVID-19 Taskforce member, Co-Chair – Global Summit of Women 2018, Trustee – Committee for Economic Development.
