Amway Korea, a subsidiary of Amway Corporation, a global leader in direct selling with a presence in over 100 countries worldwide. Amway Korea recently organized their Diamond Incentive trip in Sydney, Australia, held in December 2023.  

The first Amway Korea Diamond Incentive was held in Sydney in 2016, and since then, the company maintained a long-standing relationship with Business Events Sydney. This recent incentive was a postponed program due to COVID-19 travel restrictions in 2021. The Business Events Sydney team worked tirelessly with the Amway Korea team on planning, to reschedule the trip in 2023. The purpose of the Diamond Incentive was to recognise and reward top-performing distributors for their outstanding direct selling achievements, whilst providing an unforgettable experience in Sydney for networking, learning, and leisure.

Why did you choose Sydney as a destination for your incentive? 

We find Australia very suitable for incentive trips because it’s exotic and attractive, but much closer to travel from Korea. We selected Sydney among many Australian cities because of its connectivity from Seoul, Sydney’s abundance in resources and accessibility, and it's a popular and most requested tourist destination. 

How has it been working with the team from BESydney? 

The team at BESydney helped us a lot during the planning journey. Especially, when we were looking for unique venues for our Gala event and Welcome Dinner, the team supported us a great deal with their knowledge and expertise. 

What do you hope this incentive will achieve for Amway representatives? 

Because some of our Amway Korea delegates have attended previous incentives in Sydney, we wanted to focus on building a program that both first timers and repeat visitors will find exciting. We are very pleased that the variety of unique experiences in the program represent the prestige of Amway’s Incentives where the delegates can experience special tailored experiences with universal appeal.  

What was one of the highlights of the Incentive? What did you do that was new and different in Sydney that the delegates enjoyed? 

We had an exclusive lunch cruise on Clearview Sydney Harbour Cruises, upon arrival, showcasing beautiful Sydney harbour to the guests, which gave a great first impression of the city. I would like to recommend the Clearview Sydney Harbour cruise experience to anyone looking for a luxury program.
