Extraordinary Sydney

A city that defies expectations
Sydney consistently ranks as a leading global and Asia Pacific hub – and Australia’s number one destination for global meetings, according to the latest annual International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Country and City Rankings.

Sydney is a place of contrasts, an energetic global city sitting seamlessly within a thriving natural environment of beaches, harbour, gardens and bushland. Whether you’re an association or corporate business looking to connect across Australia, the Asia-Pacific or the world, Sydney has the proven capacity to deliver business events like nowhere else.

Extraordinary Sydney

Industry strengths

As the largest economy in Australia and the ninth largest in the Asia Pacific Region, Sydney is perfectly positioned to help you shape a brighter and more prosperous future for local and global communities. A hive of innovation and thought leadership, the city is making global connections as the academic and business hub for Australia’s signature industry sectors.

Ease of Access

Spoilt for choice
Sydney is Australia’s most accessible city. Whether travelling in from inter-state or overseas, once you’ve landed at Sydney Airport, the city centre is only 8km (5 miles) away via your choice of taxi, train, airport shuttle bus, or private transfer, whichever you prefer. But the vast array of choices doesn’t stop there – there’s a range of accommodation, from the city to the coast and hinterlands to choose from. You’ll feel at home the minute you arrive.

For our international guests, like many countries around the world, Australia also has requirements for entry visas.
